Elysia Newman | Learned How to Lead Authentically

Elysia is the founder of Style412, a non-profit dedicated to influencing the Pittsburgh Fashion industry to be more conscious.

Her entrepreneurial leadership style is inspired by her international travel. We started working together through a Women’s Leadership Program.

Here is her story:

The Catalyst

It’s always been important to me to be a strong leader and be able to support the people around me. I was hoping to refine and polish myself as part of the next level of my leadership journey.

The Experience

Angelina was my first professional coach; I admit prior to us working together I was skeptical about coaching. Coaching with her was like a friendship, we had mutual trust and respect that put me at ease and is necessary for my growth and development.

Her whole person approach resonated with my wellness background and overall philosophy. As a leader it is important that I take care of myself as I grow professionally.

The Breakthrough

Since working with Angelina I have learned to lead authentically

  • I learned through working with Angelina that I didn’t need to be a certain type of leader. What I needed was to embrace who I already was.

  • I was able to focus on the deeper meaning behind my professional goals and how they aligned with my personal values as a person and a leader. I realized there isn’t one right way to lead, there is what is authentic for me.

  • By creating space for myself I was able to gain clarity on how to balance my needs with those I lead.

If you are committed to personal transformation and ready to do the work, I’d highly recommend working with Angelina!
